Product Purchase - Payment Methods - Return Policy
The products posted on houseplants.gr are presented with retail prices including VAT. In addition to the retail cost, each user / customer pays the shipping cost, when it exists, the amount of which will be notified before the final submission of the order. The company can modify the prices of its products. Any modification will not affect existing orders that are being processed or shipped.
Payment for the products can be made in one of the following ways: credit or debit card, deposit in a bank account and payment via PayPal. After the completion of the order, an email will be sent to the customer confirming his order which will include all the above payment methods.
Upon receipt of the product, the customer is responsible to check if the packaging is intact and if the condition of the products received is the desired or there are any obvious problems or defects of the product so as not to lose the rights under the law on defective products .

Cancellation before sending the plant order:
Plant order can be canceled up to the time before the plant is shipped. We reserve the right to charge for the cancellation of the order an amount of up to 50% of its purchase value for plants which are sent upon special order, or have the indication that they can be sent only after 1-2 weeks. These are plants that are planted exclusively on behalf of the consumer and the amount charged at the time of cancellation depends on the costs that have already arisen until the cancellation of the order, as well as on its maintenance costs.

For this reason, each plant is thoroughly examined upon receipt by the supplier and within a few hours is re-inspected to be in the same excellent condition before being packaged and sent to the final recipient by houseplants.gr. Plant packaging is a process that we are constantly researching in order to achieve the optimal level of ventilation and stabilization of plants in it.
For each plant that we pack, all the prescribed control steps are carried out so that the plants are visibly healthy and perfectly to be sent and we have previously checked their durability during their shipment in the package.
We note that plants are living organisms and therefore we can not fully control and predict their behavior when changing environmental conditions. We remind you that from the moment the plants leave the company and are received by the respective courier company, the responsibility for their transfer lies solely with their buyer (customer) and houseplants.gr bears no responsibility during their transfer.
In case you receive a plant within 3 days from the day the plant came out of the houseplants.gr store and you consider that the plant is defective in nature or we have sent you a different plant from the one you ordered, the procedure we follow as Return policy is as follows:
Within 24 hours from the time of receipt of the plant, send us an email to [email protected] with photos and videos of the plant with emphasis on the points where you consider that there is a defect. Houseplants.gr reserves the right to request additional visual material for investigation.
We receive the material you sent us and we examine the quality control stages of your order as well as the entire receipt batch from the supplier.
Then we contact you and:
a. In case we have sent you another plant than the one you ordered, we will bear the shipping costs so that you can send us back the wrong plant and if we receive it, we will resend the plant you originally ordered or refund your money to your account.
b. In case you have received the plant you ordered and you consider that the plant does not meet your personal expectations, the agricultural team of houseplants.gr examines if there is indeed a defect in your plant and the origin of the defect.
b.1.if the defect of the plant is valid and is due to the stages of its production, the first available representative of the customer service department of houseplants.gr will contact you to find the best solution for your compensation and of course to agree on its return plant you received, to give you instructions for its temporary care and how to package it. We intend to refund the amount you paid for the purchase of the plant, provided that the plant will return to us in the same condition we sent you, and not worse. We reserve the right to refuse the refund of the money you paid for the purchase of the plant, if it does not reach our hands in the condition that we sent it to you.
b.2. if the defect of the plant is valid and is due to the conditions of its transport, houseplants.gr is not responsible and does not undertake its compensation. In this case, we will stand by you and your plant and we will provide you with supportive advice so that you can take care of your plant immediately and it can return to its excellent and perfect condition.
In general, in case three (3) days have passed since the receipt of the plant (or the 1st attempt of delivery by the transport in case it did not find you at the stated address), it is considered that you have expressed your satisfaction with the plant, that you acknowledge that this is a fragile and consumable product and that houseplants.gr does not bear any responsibility for the way you treat and care for the plant. Therefore houseplants.gr does not bear any responsibility in case the plant does not thrive.
Houseplants.gr reserves the right to make any changes to its Online Store, its commercial policy and the Terms of Use at any time it deems necessary without any notice.
Cancellation after sending the order of plants / Refusal of receipt
In case the shipment of the order is made and the receipt is denied for any reason, houseplants.gr does not bear any responsibility and in no case undertakes its compensation.
